07Website case study · Design concept
Giving a global physician community a clearer place to connect, lead and grow.
A community-led redesign that brings professional connection, resources and physician wellbeing into one confident experience.

The project problem
Uniting a large professional community without making the experience feel institutional.
Physician Side Gigs supports doctors exploring career options, entrepreneurship and life beyond clinical work. The redesign needed to reflect the scale and credibility of the community while making its purpose, content and member pathways feel welcoming and easy to understand.
The job was not simply to make a polished website. It was to make the right next step feel obvious.- Primary audience
- Physicians exploring new paths
- Conversion priority
- Understand and join the community
- Design focus
- Professional scale with a human character
Inside the experience
A closer look at how the story unfolds.

The design logic
Three decisions that shaped the work.
- Decision 01
Built the narrative around community outcomes: connection, leadership and physician wellbeing.
- Decision 02
Created a modular editorial system for member stories, resources, community proof and joining pathways.
- Decision 03
Balanced medical credibility with warmer photography, open layouts and a flexible teal-and-blue visual identity.
The outcome
A more human platform for a high-trust professional network.
The concept gives the community’s scale and value a clearer structure. Prospective members can understand the mission, see the people behind it and identify meaningful routes into the network.
