Web application case study · Custom web application
A therapy-booking platform built around the right practitioner match.

Project priorities
What the web application needed to make clear.
- Primary users
- People seeking therapy and practitioners
- Core action
- Find and book a suitable therapist
- Product focus
- Two-sided booking and appointment management
The brief
Turning a sensitive search for support into a manageable booking journey.
Counterpoise needed more than a marketing website. People had to be able to find suitable therapists based on their support needs and book appointments with confidence. Therapists also needed a practical way to manage their own bookings. The product had to connect both sides of that journey without making an already personal decision feel complicated.

The approach
A clear path from first decisions to final delivery.
- 01
Structured the user journey around support needs so people could move from their situation to a suitable therapist and available appointment.
- 02
Designed the booking flow to keep therapist selection, appointment details and the next action clear across devices.
- 03
Built practitioner-facing management tools so therapists could view and manage their own bookings within the same system.
03 · The outcome
One connected system for finding support and managing appointments.
The completed web application gives users a clearer route from their needs to an appropriate therapist and booking. On the practitioner side, therapists can manage their own appointments through the platform, creating a more connected operating system for Counterpoise’s service.
