A Shopify production team behind your agency
A strong ecommerce design still needs to account for product states, catalogue structure, reusable sections, merchant editing, apps and the realities of mobile shopping. Those decisions become part of the theme—not an afterthought at launch.
Oncreation handles that production layer behind your agency. Your team retains the client relationship, creative direction and final approval while we organise the Shopify theme build, QA and release workflow.
White-label Shopify theme services
Theme architecture follows the approved design, catalogue and merchant workflow. We define what should be reusable before the build begins.

Build merchant-editable sections and blocks around the agreed content rules so routine campaign and merchandising changes do not require code edits.
Create the agreed product, collection, editorial and supporting templates around catalogue structure, product information and customer journeys.
Extend an appropriate existing theme when the required changes, code quality, app dependencies and upgrade responsibilities can be reviewed safely.
What your agency receives
The approved visual direction carries through navigation, product discovery, product detail, cart and supporting content.
Settings, sections and blocks are organised around the edits the merchant is expected to make after launch.
Key templates, variants, media, forms and cart behaviour are reviewed across agreed breakpoints and browsers.
Theme responsibilities, app dependencies, known limitations and post-launch support are visible at handover.

Shopify theme development FAQs
Clear answers about Figma builds, custom themes, merchant editing, catalogue setup, apps, performance, pricing and timing.
Yes. We review the approved desktop and mobile designs, required templates, product states, navigation, cart behaviour, content and app touchpoints before confirming the production scope. Missing states are resolved with your agency before development begins.
We can build a store-specific custom theme or extend an appropriate existing theme. The route depends on the design, catalogue, functionality, merchant editing needs, timeline and budget. Public Shopify Theme Store submission is a separate product with additional requirements and is not included by default.
Yes, within the agreed content model. We plan reusable sections, blocks, templates and settings around common merchant tasks while protecting the parts of the design that should remain consistent.
Yes, after reviewing the theme licence, current code, required changes, app dependencies and upgrade implications. If the requested result requires fighting the original architecture, we will recommend a safer route before work starts.
The Ecommerce Partner plan can include standard catalogue setup for up to 50 products from clean, client-supplied data. Larger catalogues, substantial cleanup, product copy, image production and complex data migration are scoped separately.
We account for responsive media, avoid unnecessary theme code, use platform-aware asset delivery and check the agreed storefront journeys with semantic and keyboard considerations. Exact performance or accessibility targets must be defined in the scope and tested against representative content.
No. We can configure agreed app blocks and theme integration points, but custom app development, complex APIs and business-critical integrations require separate technical discovery and pricing.
Shopify work uses the separate Ecommerce Partner plan at £1,800 per month, billed monthly in advance with a three-month minimum initial commitment. A theme-led store commonly needs two to three billing cycles; timing is confirmed after the designs, catalogue, functionality and app requirements are reviewed.
